Cat-in-window

"Hello Gorgeous"

Allie and I had a lunch-date yesterday. We ate at one of our favorite little gourmet restaurants in our town and once again, over-indulged. Later, she went off with a friend to 'catch-up' and I put on my walking boots. While Kane was off to the bush with his side-kick, I headed out for a fast-paced 45 minute walk. I always hope for a 'kitty in the window' opportunity and today I found this little one. It was a fleeting moment, as the cat fled before I could zoom in,  but I'm happy with her gorgeousness at a distance.

Here are a few of my favorites over the past year..

We are surely a town full of cat-lovers.

What's on the table tonight...Vegetarian stuffed red peppers. I did not have a recipe so here goes..
I chopped...onion, garlic, mushrooms, celery, broccoli, zucchini & yellow pepper.
Stir fried the above in olive oil, basil, thyme, sage & salt and pepper.
Threw in a 1/2 cup of chick peas
Cooked for 5 minutes
Added cooked rice to the stir-fry (as much as you like)
Prepared peppers for stuffing (cut off top and clean inside) Stand up in a glass casserole dish
1/2 fill with filling
a spoon of tomato sauce on top
add mozzarella cheese
repeat
put 1 inch of water in bottom of dish
cover the casserole dish with tin-foil
Bake in oven 375 for 45 minutes
Easy and delish

Spring is just around the corner
and the sun is shining today.
Have a nice 'family' day.
hugs, Deb

  5. Its really funny at the moment because the sparrows have re-appeared in the bushes below my bedroom window, so every morning there is a row of cats sitting on the window sill looking down nattering like a lot of old women. lol

  11. That Silver Chinchilla is just gorgeous!! They are all wonderful though. I love coming home at night & seeing our Orange boy sitting in the window waiting. By the time I park in the garage, he's at the door waiting patiently to grab my ankle in a hug. How darling is that???

  12. Hmm, do you have more “cat at the window” photos? I think I’d love to be in your town. Aside from the cats, there could be other things that can inspire other people like the structures of the buildings and houses there. The red bricks actually amazed me! Seeing a black and white cat is a plus. ^^,

  13. The stunning windows in this house, makes this place not just a perfect spot for viewing the beautiful scenery but also a place to find adorable cats. Allowing your cute cats to stay in front of your big and stunning glass window is a good way of entertaining visitors.

  14. Haha! The third photo really creeped me out a bit, but I also had a slight urge to get him/her as my pet. Great thing these windows are sturdy enough to prevent our purrrfect friends from falling. Hehe

  15. Those cats are so adorable! My kid will love these pictures. She likes cats but, unfortunately, my wife is allergic so we just let her keep a stuff animal cat that she treats as a pet. I bet she’ll like the third picture best because it kind of looks like Sherly (her stuff cat). Anyway, great job capturing these pictures! It clearly showed that cats make good window decors, hehe! =)
