(taken in his garden last year)
and soon the kitty-madness will start again. Lots of people going over-seas, for different reasons. Looking forward to seeing all their cats and showing them off to you.I have a few more cups and saucers to show you from the auction last week that I attended in Almonte.
These are the last of them.
They are all bone china from England
I'll be giving many away as gifts so watch for my give-away, if you are interested. There are only a few that will be.
This mug was in with a bunch of coffee-mugs on a shelf in a card shop.
Pop back tomorrow 'cause Riley has something to tell you.;-)
http://answerischocolate.blogspot.ca/ & http://missspensersblog.blogspot.ca/ has a party goin' on. Drop by and enjoy lots of pretty blogs.

ReplyDeleteI love the red teacup =)
ReplyDeleteHope you and Kane enjoy your walk!
Hi Deb- I'll try again!! Thanks for stopping by to visit me otherwise I might not have found you! We seem to have a bit in common, I too am an empty nester. I have only 2 cats (from the humane society) named Paris and Earl Grey AKA Sissy and Buddy... they are my babies! I love china ... use to own a tea room/Cafe/gift shop. I'm retired and love to craft, bake, garden, decorate and read. And I too would arm wrestle you for black licorice ... I'm sure I outweigh you...so I'd win!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if you made quite a haul at the auction. They are beautiful. I love auctions! I am going to sign up to follow you... hope to hear from you again.
Blessings, L
Wow you did find some lovely teacups! I'll keep my eyes open for a giveaway! Oh Riley has something to tell us??? :)
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
Favourites? The dog rose, the thistle, and the white with gold trim. I certainly will be here for Miss Riley's announcement.

You really did hit the jackpot with that box from the auction. Some lovely cups there. I have a new kitty mug. Keep thinking I should do a week worth of kitty posts. :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching for your give away...I love the thin rim on my Mr. Ed cup and those look to be just as nice, even though they don't have handsome Siamese cats on them!
ReplyDeletePuff is too too much. Your tea cup collection is wonderful. I love it when they put a design on the inside of the cup, very charming. And your new kitty mug is precious.
ReplyDeleteSo much beauty in one post, including you, Deb! --no wonder I come here every day. Love the photo of Kane looking as snuggy as a cat on the sofa. What beautiful china cups you found. So Riley has a secret. Hummmm . . . we already know she is going to be a big sister. Is she going to be a big sister to twins?!

Puff is such a beauty! Oh those gorgeous eyes! Who could ever resist him!
ReplyDeleteThe tea cups look like they are waiting for a party. Just tell us when and we'll be right over.
Tell Riley we we just can't wait to hear her announcement !
Hi Deb: Lovely teacups. I'm sure going to be on the lookout for your next give away. Did you check mine out also? Sweet little Kane is getting his beauty sleep..Happy Tuesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteI really love Puff! And Kane. And that's a great pic of you, too.
ReplyDeleteAll the floral teacups are beautiful, but when I got to the red one, that was it. I love red, and that one is gorgeous! And Kane looks pretty darn comfy on the sofa. You know I'm a sucker for gray cats and Audrey stole my heart when she was a kitten.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of teacups! That is a terrific collection! Congratulations!

So many beautiful tea cups Deb! I love the ones with the scalloped edges ~ pretty! And of course, kitty in the garden is perfect. :)

Love all the pretty cups. They remind me of what I grew up with in Germany where most coffee and teas were set with mixmatched, collected dish sets called Sammeltassen (http://marlisbennett.blogspot.com/search?q=sammeltassen)
ReplyDelete(http://marlisbennett.blogspot.com/2011/08/garden-party-tablescape.html) (http://marlisbennett.blogspot.com/2010/09/afternoon-coffee.html) just three posts where I've used them.. I know you will enjoy your cups very much.. Sweet kitty!! xo marlis... thanks for dropping by and for your very kind comments.
Thanks for visiting. Don't know about P Kitty, but I eat food with pumpkin soup in it and my coat has never been so shiny and silky. TW loves the cups and saucers. We have a load of those in that locked cabinet that I'm not allowed in. The one that TW has a heart attack every time I jump on top of it. Ours has Thomas Jefferson or some colonial figure on them and another set has pale pink flowers. We have the plates too. TW wonders if they can eat off them because of the gold leaf.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finds! They are all so gorgeous. I'm convinced tea automatically tastes better in a beautiful cup. Thanks for sharing at this week's BFF Open House!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful group of teacups. Lovely. Spoilt for choice!
