What made you smile today?

Sauteing brussels sprouts in olive oil, onion, garlic, basil, thyme, oregano & pepper and  actually enjoying them. I used to always steam them. Not anymore.

My dog, Kane. He always makes me happy.
At thirteen he is still healthy but fighting environmental allergies. He is on meds for the Fall months so he looks a little dopey. Here he is after shredding the wrapper my sandwich was in. He so enjoyed that. *grin*

If you love beautiful photos, mouth-watering recipes and cats (oh ya!) then you must pop over and visit this gorgeous blog. Have a tea ready; you'll want to stay awhile.

And of course what tops my list,  this little peanut. Now almost a week old. Yes, she is loved.

  2. Both are good shots. Kane reminds me of Mandy, the collie we had when I was growing up.

  9. Kane sure does not look his age! Wonderful face. I love Brussels cooked this way too, and if you wish to add meat just include a few pieces of lean bacon. Minerva x

  10. Kane is such a sweet faced dog, bless his heart.

Is it my imagination or does little Gwyneth look like you and the retired guy. Not her hair but facial features and colouring. Bet she'll be a strawberry blonde. She's gorgeous beyond words.
