Glads & chippies

Gladiolus on Pinterest

There are seven of these beauties about to burst open along our front fence. I'm anxious to see the colour as I bought a bag of mixed bulbs just for the surprise factor.
Won't be long now.

It was fun to see the chippy family out this morning.
They were glad I came by with some treats.
They were glad I came out with some treats.
This one I can almost touch.

Greedy-guts

I wanted to show off my gift all the way from Vietnam.

Lovely, isn't it.
Thank you, my dear daughter. It has found a home.

We are heading out for ice-cream later. Tell you why tomorrow.
hugs, Deb

  3. Chipmunks are one of the cutest little animals to watch, especially at the bird feeders. "Greedy Guts" is a perfect moniker for pretty much every chipmunk that dines at our feeders too.

What a lovely gift . Ice cream ? Is it your birthday ?

  4. I visit daily but do not comment daily, but LOOOOOVE your page. We have kitties and of course, the world revolves around them. You folks have the corner on the market when it comes to the color green. Your yards and woodsy shots are spectacular. Love your creativity and appreciation for the finer yet more simple things in life. Love when you include Kane. Our kitties are Toby, an American shorthair, classic silver tabby and Lucy, a tuxedo girl. We have had many over the years that have reached the ages of 21 and 23. The girls, Cokie and Mousse both died in the same year at age 21. Barney, at 23, was the oldest. Always indoor kitties because we have coyotes in our "neighborhood". Thank you for your FABulous blog and especially grand photos.
