Unpredictable March

It just snowed for two days straight; heavy, wet snow.
Everyone was shocked...
"Not again!"
We are all just fed up by now.
Other than one appointment, it was a good time to hunker down and get some inside projects done.
And maybe a bit of spring decorating.
And drink lots of hot tea.
The birds were in a panic once again.

Even Audrey hid for most of it.

But today the sun came out, the snow-fall ended, the temperature went up
and the birds were calm and happy again.

The unpredictable month of March.
You'd think we'd be used to it by now.

hugs, Deb

  1. I think Audrey's got the right idea. I'd imagine there'll still be more of it to come.

My flowering quince was covered with lush, pink buds ,now all brown.
I'm glad Simon had the chance to refuel before he returned to his winter hideaway.

  7. You never get used to it. You'd think I'd be used to 100 degree and high humidity weather .... nope! We just wish it would go away! Hang in there. Purrs and hugs ----

  8. We missed most of the snow so I feel your distress in a different way (one of the past knowing and the relief, too). Looks cozy at the Mouse House though.

By the way -- when I clicked on the link in blogger to get there, another page (which I wish I could remember) popped up with a thing to continue to site. I tried it again from the reading list (where I got before) and it came straight here so maybe I did something weird but just a head's up.

  9. It's hilarious that Audrey sleeps like that, with her big feets sticking out! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
