Perfect tea-pot & the purrfect cat

I love my new tea-pot. It holds lots of tea.

Not only is it cute but it pours beautifully.
That's what makes a great tea-pot, I think.

Kane and I were off again for a walk after I returned from cat-sitting.  We came across another neighbourhood feline.
I tell ya, I am beginning to think that every house in this town has a cat or two. And, most of them are indoor/outdoor cats.
Look at this beauty. I'd be afraid this one would be stolen by someone.
Is that not some beautiful feline floof, there. I almost scooped her up myself.

Back home, my little beauty, Annie posed for me in the dining-room.
It is one of her favorite rooms as it has two large windows and the sun pours in. Hasn't she filled out nicely. I think she's a peach. She is 9.5 lbs and feels like an armful now. She is a happy cat and every one of my family members has fallen in love with her. They all say "she reminds me of Cali without the 'catitude'. Annie loves everyone.

Later, I came across mom & babe snoozin' in amongst the garden pots. This is why they had to stay together. They are just so dang cute.

  2. As a fellow cat aficionado I enjoyed your post very much! Annie is beautiful--she has such big eyes and I love her checkerboard markings. The cat on the porch looked so handsome. Don't you wish they could talk?

  3. It does my heart a world of good to see Annie so healthy and happy. I remember the little ghost mama she was, with that haunted look. In these pics I don't see that look any more. And the shot of Annie and Audrey--well, I could look at it all day long! Perfection! One of the reasons I love cats is because of how comfortable and blissful they can look. You need to put that pic on your side board (whatever it's called). Annie and Audrey--a story with a very happy ending.

  4. What a great blog- all about cats and tea! Love your Annie, what a beauty. And the neighbor's cat is so regal looking. I love a long haired cat.

I hope you enjoy many cups of tea from your new teapot.

  6. Deb: What a beauty. I would have been tempted too. We had an "Annie" once but she was no 'peach'. Meanest cat in the land and everyone hated to be near her. I just let her sleep alot, because she not only looked beautiful but she was beautiful then!..Happy Sunday..Judy P.S. I came across some old pics of her. Always had her mouth opened like she would eat you alive. I'll share them some day.

  12. Those cats curled up together for a snooze -- what a wonderfully sweet picture!

Thanks for visiting That Old House. We don't have a cat, but even so there will be a handsome cat in my blog post tomorrow, Monday, because even dog people sometimes meet up with irresistible felines!

Now I think I'll go make a pot of tea; love your new blue and white pot.

  14. Oh, what beautiful kitties! You're lucky that your mommy kitty would love her baby. Ours actually left home. She came to visit once about two years after she had her babies. She just sat in the yard and let us pet her, then turned around and ran off into the woods. She hated her babies, it was crazy.
