You look up, always, to see the colourful homes and the greenery.
The trees are abundant and lush. The people are calm, smiling and extremely courteous and friendly.
You cross the roads and streets anywhere as cars stop and wait for you.
I looked for Cats in Windows with No Luck. As a matter of fact, I didn't see one cat in 4 days.
How could you pass this and not smile.
(My girls, Allie & Jess)
Friday was spent shopping and last minute arrangements for Jess and Mike's ceremony to take place at 7 pm at the sight called Cape Spear. The flower shops were as whimsical and colourful as the flowers themselves. Every shop drew you in. And you always walked UP. Walkers, joggers, mom's with strollers, couples holding hands and middle aged health nuts were out early clad in runners and wearing the Newfoundlander smile.
The water calls you and you head to the docks.
So that was our first morning there. I'll cover the wedding and our whale of a time in another post.
hugs,. Deb

So beautiful landscape, amazing colours!
ReplyDeleteFour days without cats? Your kitties will be getting a lot of loving when you get back!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful location for a wedding! The weather looks like it was cooperating too, even better!! But, 4 days with not even seeing a cat? Oh my! Did you go through withdrawals - tremors, irritable, etc?
ReplyDeleteI did, the little rascals. They've got me where they want me.
