BUT....it does feel different now and I do believe we are bidding 'farewell' to old man winter.
I visited my sister this morning and enjoyed a gab session over muffins and coffee. It was well over-due.
Then it was time for a bit of shopping. The stores were busy and the shoppers cheery as they held up the colourful Easter bunnies and little chicks that seemed to be everywhere. I couldn't resist and came home with a new rabbit to hold some Easter chocolates. I found some delicious German chocolates to fill his basket for the grandittles and a few of us adult chocoholics. Is there anything better than European chocolate? I think not. Look at these beautiful boxes that hold 4 German chocolate bars. Wonderful treats inside and pretty keep-sake boxes.
They are made of tin and simply gorgeous. Just look at all that colour. :-)))
"Oh my goodness..I love Easter."
BUNBUN
I'll be digging out my Easter box this week.
My assistant today in the dining-room was none other than Joe.
He's doing his best to be a calm kitty even though he is the only male amongst them.
Well, I'm off to kitty-sit. Photos coming.
hugs, Deb
Joe's running a customary inspection of the bunny figurine, I see.

I love the pussy willow picture! Today is chilly, overcast and very windy. However, we've been having spring weather!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready to pull out my Easter bin and let the bunnies have the run of the house!
ReplyDeleteThose chocolate tins are absolutely
ReplyDeletebeautiful! I 've seen nothing like them where I live. But here, in Podunk, if it isn't in a grocery store
or Hallmark shop, it doesn't exist.
Those Belgian-German chocs are the
best.
I wish I could find some real pussy
willows . I think they are one of the
happiest things ever. Love the
pussy willow print!
I have missed a lot of posts!
ReplyDeleteGwyn looks adorable...does gramps really go on and on and on!? Hahaha!
Love your new Bun Bun....and the "pussy willow" picture is really cute!
Enjoy your Sunday....think we are having a houseful!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Those tins are to die for. I've never seen any like them! I've started to bring out pinks and bunnies and nests -- and soon, the egg tree. I'll stare snow in the face and say I'm having spring no matter what you say!
