2 months to go......

It is 2 months today that our son will marry the love of his life. I have 2 months to get this 'ol bod ready  (omgosh! What have I done?) and be a smashing Mother of the Groom.
John & Deb 1984
Sometimes when I look at my all-grown-up son I still see this. Now his little daughter will be a year soon and looks just like he did.

She's a curly-top too....just like daddy was.
 Time goes fast.

The planning has been going on for 6 months and the last thing to do is have little Riley ready to walk up the aisle with Aunt Jess & Aunt Allie on either side. She will be 13 months by then and she is raring to get going.

The sun is out today

and I have kitties to sit. Then I'm off to the market to load up on fruit and veggies.
Still working on the bathroom because we had an interruption yesterday so didn't finish painting. That's life!

Stop by and say hi to Jayme at http://talefromthecoopkeeper.blogspot.com/. She has been busy making magic in a bottle that will take years off our skin, ladies. You can purchase it right from Jayme herself.

Reminder.....Easter Lilies are poisonous to cats.

hugs, Deb

  5. Deb, your pictures are always SO beautiful! Oh my gosh, I'd say you are "smashing Mother-of-the-Groom" ready now!! Your son and grandbaby are just too sweet. My oldest was born in 1985, just a year later than your son.

I LOVE the photo a few posts back of the kitty in the basket (yawning) waiting for wild birds to fly in! hahaha ... Donna
