Dustin' dishes & my co-pilot

Sometimes I just have to play with dishes
and it was time to re-arrange and dust a bit
I always have help. That's Annie and she never breaks a thing. Boggles my mind, it does.
These cups remind me of summer
which is quickly leaving us.
My favorite time of year is right around the corner, though.
It's Kane's, too.
He's all tuckered out from helping me with my cat-sitting this morning. He gets to run around in the country. Yippee! We were on the road early; much too early for an old dog. He's not a coffee drinker so he was a little groggy at 7am.
He'd actually make a lousy cat-sitter.

I'm joning Tea-cup Tuesday with Sandi at  http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.ca/

hugs, Deb

  1. I do hope Kane got extra treats for his work .
We had a big Maine Coon..ordinarily he was a clumsy goofball, but he could tiptoe around breakables like a shadow.

  3. Your dog looks like I feel first thing in the morning Deb. I am so bad at waking up but fresh as a daisy last thing at night, maybe I should have been a bar maid. lol

  4. It always surprised me to see cats so daintily step a tiny path through dishes or other breakables, without causing any disruption. Almost uncanny.

  8. Hello Deb,
Love your stacks of teacups! The chintz teacup especially is making me swoon! I'm glad your Annie is gentle with the dishes. I'm putting the Fall cleaning off until my beach days are over. Trying to squeeze every moment in that we can. Thanks for joining me for tea and enjoy the rest of your week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
