Busy, busy, busy. Ozzie has the right idea. Take time to chill.
Well, that's Christmas and we all feel rushed but if you can still stay 'Merry' we will have some fun.
Christmas cards are wonderful, aren't they? It's so nice to hear from those that you know you will not see over the holidays but will no doubt be thinking of.
Now, to display some cards you need either a table, shelf, mantel or maybe something like this.
It's ok, but I wasn't happy with it. Plus Audrey could reach it from the floor and was having a great 'ol time.
Out to the backyard to find some evergreen. Remember, I'm keeping it simple. Right!
Let's do this again.
Smart, eh! Not really...I found this on another blog and loved the idea that it would cost me nothing.
So, thanks Judy from http://judyatgoldcountrycottage.blogspot.ca/ for your great idea. I'll be doing up a door in the living-room, too. Have you met Judy? You know what to do. :)
More cat-care for Christmas came in today. Yippee! I'm in for some fun getting to know lots of new cats. Bring it on!

I love sending cards too. Great idea for displaying them Deb.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea a Christmas card wreath ! I like receiving Christmas cards as well as sending them . Sounds and looks like a fun time at the book store . Such a pretty little girl ! Have a good evening !
ReplyDeleteLove the idea for cards!
ReplyDeleteLove the card display with he greenery!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to comment on the post from several days ago about Rosie. What an adorable little girl! I have a soft spot in my heart for little calico girls and she's just too cute.
Put a pair of wings on that child and she could pass for an angel! Audrey, not so much.
ReplyDeleteKitties always seem to know that a quick nap between all the hussle and bussle is always a good idea. ;)

Really nice idea, sadly many of our cards are read and then heaped ina bundle - and they need to be displayed. Love that kitty looking at the ornaments on the tree in your header , naughty! (But so nice.) Wishing you + yours and all those cats a wonderful Christmas. Minerva x
ReplyDeleteThat is, by far, the nicest way I've seen to display Christmas cards! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeletePeople aren't sending as many cards as the used to.
A card via computer just isn't the same. What I don't miss, however, are those horrible "to whom it may concern" Christmas letters where people go on and on BRAGGING about themselves , all the accomplishments of their unbelievably perfect children or day by day accounts of vacations to 24 countries. Luckily, they seem to be on the way out.
