Little Trooper.

The sun shone all day so work began on cleaning up the property.

Didn't I just do this last Fall?

It was a joy to be outside cleaning and straightening up after such a long winter. And the quiet was so relaxing. Just me and the song-birds.
I thought.

I felt some eyes on me as I worked away, though. Itty-bitty eyes.

"It's so good to have you back, Simon."

                                        You made it through
                                    another Canadian winter.
                                                 "BRAVO!"
                                           You're a trooper.

                                         Take a bow, buddy.
hugs, Deb

  1. It's all of the good food you put out and the protected environment you've created for him, Deb , that's done the trick. He's a hale and hearty fellow.
He must be getting a bit older now; can you tell him it's about time he gave us some grandchippies!

    1. He has a cozy den under our old pump. And he was pretty chubby when he went to sleep. :)

  13. We worked in the yard yesterday, cleaning up what we are now calling our 'stick garden', since there is so much debris from the trees and the many wind-storms we've had.
