Joy

When I think of 'joy' I think of my cats bathing in the sun-puddles throughout the house.
Not a care in the world.
Feeling so fine. Filled with joy.
                                                          (taken this morning)

They look so peaceful.
That's joy for me, too.

I'm enjoying a hot cup of tea in a gorgeous tea-cup
poured from a pretty tea-pot.
With a cookie, of course.
Yes, that's joy, too.
The tea-cup and saucer is called Countryside and it is made in England.
The cookie is called Oatmeal Raisin and it is made in Almonte at Bob the Bakers. Mmmmm good!

Just let me know if you are coming for tea.
I'll grab a few more cups and get out the tea-pot with the chubby feet.
I'll get more cookies...I promise.
and we'll mix up the cups and saucers
just to add more joy.
(a sweet Valentine gift from kitty-clients' Rosie, Otis & Lola )

hugs, Deb

  1. You make me long to drop by so that I could share a cup of tea with you :)
Cats in sunpuddles or curled up in the most unexpected places in my home brings me joy too.

  2. Your pics remind me so much of the saying "A house is not a home without a cat" or 2 or 3 or 5. Of course I could also add a cup of tea. Have a great weekend!

  3. I love that quote that ZaZa used in the comment above...in fact it's on one of my best selling cards...

The cats look so content...we haven't really had enough sun for long enough for the Boo to sunbathe...it's coming though.

  8. Thank you for starting my day with such lovely thoughts and beautiful, happy photos. And the offer for tea... oh, that sounds to very good today. Thank you, Deb, for the ways you touch so many lives - our and, of course, all the kitties that "belong" to you.
