Doing some 'splainin'

Sierra is getting her coat ready for the big greeting. It has to be shiny and purr-fect. She has no intention on going to bed on Christmas eve. She will be waiting by the back door and listening for the jingle bells.
She is so excited.

She did send Santa a letter and wrote one for Audrey, too.
You see, Audrey can't write yet (she's only 3) plus she needed Sierra to do some 'splainin' for her.

"I didn't mean it, Santa."
Sierra is so much more dignified and articulate than Audrey.
Plus Sierra figures the more toys and nip Santa leaves, the better.

She's been watching Audrey closely and intervenes when she can to make her letter-writing a little less daunting.

I do hope Santa 'falls' for it.
hugs, Deb

  1. How precious! Merry Christmas to all of you!

  2. LOL! Good luck explaining Audrey. You have your work cut out for you, Sierra!

Ho Ho Ho and a Merry Merry

  3. "Dear Santa... let me explain." Those five words speak volumes!

  4. I can't believe Audrey is 2! I started following you when she was a kitten and you wrote a hilarious post about trying to get some sleep with a wild thing in your house. She has sure tamed down a lot under your most excellent care.

  5. So cute ! Our girls are also waiting for Santa paws lol Have a good day !

  6. Tell Sierra that I am afraid Santa might have Audrey's all figured out! But he is a jolly and fair fellow so don't worry too much!

  7. I always love Audrey's expressions. They're worth a gift or two.

  8. Ha! I love this -- and that last photo really made me laugh!

  9. As long as Santa reads MY cats' letter first, Audrey's in the clear!

  10. Audrey, I think you and Louise might be getting coal in your stockings this year!

  11. We have our paws crossed for you, Audrey.
    the kitty brats =)

  12. This is so fun and sweet! I'm sure Santa will understand any possible behavior issues that Audrey may have had this year. :-)

  13. I am thinking Sierra has her work cut out for her. lol Audrey is very blessed to have her Auntie!
