Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night...

The house is so peaceful
on this stormy, icy day.

The Fab Four
Always together it seems

As I was getting into the car I glanced over to the dining-room window.
I thought this looked rather amusing.
That is our Sierra.
And look at those snow banks. It snowed all night.

Freezing rain has come and gone.
I can just see the roads.
I knew it was coming so filled all the cat bowls to the top last night.
Oh, they will all get their meals but some may complain that I'm a tad bit late.
"Hang on kitties."

hugs, Deb

  2. Be careful on those icy roads Deb & beware of the crazy drivers even more. The closer to Christmas it get, the more distracted & less attentive drivers are becoming. I almost was backed into 3 times as I traverse a short length of paring lot this morning. The photo of Lilly sleeping next to the bowl of silvery ornaments is a beautiful. I love how all the girls have taken over your dining room table as their lounge. Hard to keep a cat from a table with a great view out the window, esp. Sierra. The reflection in the glass mades it look as though she is sitting under the branches of the snow covered for. Looks like you got quite a bit of snow dumped on your area. I hope when you get home from your kitty rounds you will be able to sit with a cuppa tea and relax a bit after such a hectic day.

  4. Is Sierra trying to make you feel guilty so you will stay at home with her? Have you explained to her you have other cats depending on you ?

  8. Be safe out there! Your kitties are so sweet in how they stick together. Your house looks so cozy and warm, and the kitties add to that, of course. :-)

  9. I wonder if you got it like we did. They expect power won't be restored for many days to some. I'm one of the lucky ones. Sending greeting to you all! Joy!

  10. We got much the same weather here, but we're not that far away. Snow, mostly, with a coating of freezing rain. It's further south they got hammered.

I'm heading into that tomorrow morning!
