One of my favorite things.
This little house needed to find a place in the cupboard.
This little watercolor I picked up in a shop in Almonte this week.
No name, no date, just a sweet painting of a man and his sheep. I loved it.
Did you know that I'm never alone in my dining-room?
There are always eyes on me as I decorate.
And, I had much help with writing my Christmas cards this year.
I don't know what I'd do without her.
She's mad at me now, though, because I took her picture. It's something she loathes.
hugs, Deb
Deb, you give me such great ideas for decorating. I have little houses too... and I should use them with my Christmas decs! And I love those pics of Audrey watching you...
ReplyDeleteYou have created a wonderful little world in your cupboard! I love those little houses too, and don't have enough of them. I like your new painting, and the picture of the sheep. Some of my favorite art works were found at a thrift store. There can be a gold mine there. You have taken some truly enchanting photos recently of your family and darling grandchildren. I just love the warmth you always have here.
ReplyDeleteI love your houses and sheep -- and I especially love your find at the market! Your home is so festive! Makes me smile!
ReplyDeletelove the little houses and the new watercolor (great find). Audrey, Audrey, Audrey!!!
ReplyDeleteYou would think she is use to the photo taking by now!! Love the little house, I like them also. I got some of those sheep like yours and I am so in love with them. I'll be sharing my Christmas decorations soon!
ReplyDeleteYes, I love my sheep. Looking forward to seeing yours, Linda.
DeleteFelix goes APE over the curly stamp backing! I'm surprised Miss A left it alone.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many pretty and interesting things to look at! Lovely!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
Your cabinet is surely filled with treasures!
ReplyDeleteAh, Audrey, you have the most expressive eyes of any cat I have ever known. Don't ever change; there'll never be another one like you.
ReplyDeleteAhh, Audrey, it's so hard to be beautiful and humble. A diva needs to get used to having her portrait taken. The rest of world needs to bask in your perfection....:) Mary
Hi Deb; Thanks for visting my blog! So- I also like to visit yours. I found out you are a big cat lover! We have one Mainecoon(-Jara.... ) and since 1 year we adopted a skinny farmcat-( who is now getting Fat!)

And the old painting of the man and his sheep is dutch too; I see it on the hay-barn on it; its a dutch barn!
greetings from Fleur in de polder
Little houses draw me in, especially itty bitty little houses.
ReplyDeleteI love the watercolor you found ! I began collecting prints and reproductions of sheep paintings, drawings, etc., awhile ago and they are harder to find that I imagined. ( affordable ones )
You have a gift for decorating, must be all the feline help you get !
You have so many beautiful treasures...Audrey included. I was reading somewhere about cats not having facial expressions. The article's author has obviously never met Audrey.
ReplyDeleteThat last shot of Audrey is priceless!
ReplyDeleteLove those little houses, it all looks so pretty. And Audrey - such a star! x
