ESS & a recipe

A new ESS was a must buy today as this very loved cat product was left outside during a rain storm. (We wont go into that). We found out the hard way that they cannot take a lot of water without internal damage to the structure. So, after two days of wining and crying from Annie, I brought home a new one. She was thrilled.
Excitement is building...hence the airplane ears.

And even more thrilling, was having baby Gwynn visit and she was able to play a big part in her being happy and comfortable while we sat and listened to music.

I placed her on the floor twice and she came right back again. Annie will always be maternal.

Holy Moses these are good cookies. Do try them if you like to bake.

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 ripe bananas
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup walnuts
Oven 375 degrees
Cream together butter and sugars.Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda & cinnamon.
Mix well.  Mix in bananas, oats and walnuts. Drop by spoonful on a greased or parchment paper lined cookie tray. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Hugs, Deb

  1. That is so sweet that Annie helped with Gwyn. :-) That seat looks comfortable. I've never heard of an ESS, but will have to look into it our kitty.

  2. Oh, yes. The bed can't disappear or trouble will be near! Two precious ones: Gwyn (she's growing fast) and the lovely Annie.

  3. That is hilarious, Deb. The baby atop the cat!

  4. That Gwyn gets cuter every time I see her! Oh Annie, you are such a sweet girl. I'm surrounded by only boy cats! I need a girl!!

  5. Sweet, beautiful Annie ♥
You should have at least another Ess for yourself :)
    Those cookies look wonderful!

  6. So noted re: the Destructive Water Element! Keep all ESSes indoors...

  7. We had one of those. Then Alex peed on it! :)
