Cats & ghosts and goblins, too.

A late morning walk is the perfect time to catch felines in their windows.

The weather is cool with bright sun and the tree are still heavy with colour.
Neighbours are having some fun with the Halloween decor. There's lots of funny pumpkins, silly ghosts and the scary black cat which are all good for the little ones to enjoy. I tend to frown, though,  at this stuff since I know it will scare the pants off of children (and older ladies, too).

"Geesh!" Oh well, parents be-ware.
I even covered Kane's eyes when we passed this guy.
                                              "Really?"
Tomorrow we will celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. There are eleven of us now so the dining-room will be packed. Audrey and I will be busy deciding on table decor today. Then the room is 'off limits'. Poor girl.
                                                                   "She's a slave driver."
Have a Happy Thanksgiving all my Canadian friends.

hugs. Deb

  1. We also have to have an *off limits* set for Thanksgiving around here. Once the table is set, the cats are put in a restricted area until dinner is over. A few of them have no qualms about checking out the table settings... let alone the feast set upon it. The fact that it has not be done *for them* is difficult for them to understand.

  2. Lots of lovely kitties in windows =)
When I was a little girl, I would be so excited about Halloween. I could get dressed up and have candy. It wasn't scary, it was to dress up and satisfy your sweet tooth. The "horror" stuff isn't my cup of tea.
    Enjoy Thanksgiving with your family!!

  9. LOL! Love what weaverpat said!

We're mad for Halloween and love to decorate but usually take the "happy "route. Nothing disturbing for us, thank you.
