Halloween

Halloween night it rained but was mild so we still had ghosts and goblins at the door.
Nothing gets by Sierra.
Annie does the final inspection

The number of children out and about has dwindled over the years. More seem to celebrate at home parties now.
All the grandittles dropped by to see their Nan and Gramps.
Gwyn - our snoozin' lady-bug.
Aunt Allie showed up in a purr-fect costume.

                                                          (her name-tag reads Allie Cat)

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf.
Riley

We had 15 trick or treaters come to the door.  My favorite was a little gnome.

Well, it's all over for another year and we are all tired.
Hope you had fun.
If you need or want some chocolate...I have some.
hugs, Deb

  1. Your grandchildren are gorgeous. I've fairly recently found your blog and being an avid tea drinker and pet owner I now check in daily.

  2. Aww the grandkids are just sweet, Riley and Bradley look awesome. We love your pumpkin, what a great carving, and we love that the cats are snoopervising.

No trick or treaters here - it is not a kiwi thing to do, although lots of people have parties and dress up.

  3. Did you answer the door dressed as a cat ? I like Allie's costume , but especially the red Riding Hood & Wolf duo.

Sierra and Annie are most excellent snoopervisors!

  8. The kids look adorable, if tired!

And I wonder if Annie and Sierra are thinking, "why are they doing that to those pumpkins?"
