A new month, another storm warning

Let's see, I've picked up all keys, fed my kitty-clients and the wild-life (including ferals).  I stocked up on fresh blue-berry muffins (recipe tomorrow) and veggie spaghetti sauce. We've got some good movies and lots of popcorn on hand.
The wood is piled next to the stove and the kettle is close by.
The cats are all snuggly-wuggly in their boxes.
I'd say we are ready for the snow-storm.
Crazy-in-the-head squirrels. One is hanging on to the other while it eats.

Sierra
Kanie settling in for the evening.
He's happy 'cause he loves mom's spaghetti sauce on his dinner.

Audacious Audrey. Oh, I think not.

Today she is Adorkable Audrey. All snuggled up and waiting out the coming storm.

Here comes the snow. Stay warm. We are in for another BLAST of winter.

hugs, Deb

  2. Here we are today, about to have 41C scorching heat and you are going to have a snow storm. I am holed up inside with the air conditioner on and box fans blowing cool air around, curtains closed to keep the heat out! I'd rather be with you so I could play with the cats or just watch them snuggle and snooze....

  3. Great photos....
I don't want to talk about the weather ANYMORE!
Unless....of course...it is about how HOT and SUNNY it is.....
    Cheers my friend...

  5. Keep safe! It was actually quite balmy here in Winterpeg... only about -10. But it won't last; -30s are on it's way back.

Sounds like you are all prepared like true Canucks should (or have to) be.

  6. We went from snow to rain to snow here. Weird. I wonder why all dogs are crazy about Italian food. Did you ever know a dog that didn't start drooling at the sight of pizza?

  7. This post epitomizes my ideal vacation. Snug at home with my husband & critters during a storm, knowing the wood supply is well stocked, there is plenty of food for all, and of course reading material to be had when the power goes out. A very cozy post.( Audrey looks very snug )
