Coffee in a tea-cup

How's this for a tea-cozy?

(source)
No, I didn't knit it. Oh my goodness, I am laughing just thinking that someone might have thought that. I am so lame at knitting that I am still working on doll blankets and shams. haha!  But, I do really want to learn to knit this.  I did knit a couple of sweaters many many moons ago but it took me forever. I'm going to have to get practicing more and then someday I will attempt this. If God is my witness...hahaha!

As winter drags on we enjoy some coffee and muffins. To me, coffee tastes better in a tea-cup. The recipe for the blueberry muffins is in my previous post.

It is a little milder today than the weekend and the sun is trying hard to show it's face.
The cats are all cozy and warm.
Sierra is always well prepared for a dull, dreary day, though.
"Always pack a feather" is her motto.

I'm joining Sandi athttp://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.ca/ for Tea Cup Tuesday.

hugs, Deb

  7. Hi Deb,
I can't knit either although like you, I did manage to knit a couple of sweaters many moons ago with the help of my knitting neighbor. Coffee goes well in a teacup too and the picture of Sierra is just too cute! Thanks for joining me for tea and enjoy your day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  10. I have lots of cats at my house... 3 at present with a stray visitor on occasion. So really enjoyed the tea cozy. Don't feel bad about the knitting difficulties. I have tried off and on for years. Finally just gave up and decided I would let others do it!

  13. Adorable tea cozy kitty.I don't knit or crochet but I think that would be quite an incentive. Wouldn't it be fun to knit them in 2 cup pot size and put
    one at each table place!
Speaking of cute kitties, I saw Molly (
now called Maggie E) and her kitties
on the rescue web site. They are all
so beautiful! I love them all! God
bless their little hearts. They're all in my prayers.

  15. Yes you must knit the tea cosy. I think I have seen the pattern on eBay, would knit it myself if I wasn't so busy knitting crown tea cosies.
My Birman cat celebrates her 19th birthday on Saturday. We are both excited about her big day.
