Feline Friday - Nighty-Nite Hugo

Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep my sweet kitty

This is our diabetic grand-kitty,  Hugo who is staying with us for awhile. We are learning to live with a diabetic cat temporarily and the care and closeness that has developed makes me love him all the more.
As you can see from this photo he is a love-bug and we enjoy him so much. We worry about his health but so far he seems to be doing well. Insulin x2 daily with special food that he loves. He can also join in in the evening for a night-time treat of salmon. He is a happy 8 year old tabby cat with a love of life.

Kari, who comments regularly - do you have a blog? I can't seem to leave you a comment.

 hugs, Deb

  2. Darling cuddle-bunny! Just came from the vet with my Emma - chronic asthma - got her meds and she's just fine. We don't have too many episodes anymore, though. Don't know what she's allergic to, but we can control it and she's a happy camper! Not too keen on the travel in a carrier - and really didn't like the Newfoundland dog in the waiting room!
    Ha!
    JOY!

  7. You do build a special bond with these kitties. But who wouldn't fall in love with such a darling boy. Do you think he'll end up staying on with you? He'd fit right in! Lots of love to all.
(I haven't a blog yet. With mum's illness and having to tend to her throughout the night as well as the day, a coherent, happy blog or any blog seems overwhelming. Also, I am the worst, absolutely, worst photographer! )
