Prayers go out for your safety

No cat makes me feel more welcome at his home than Cooper.

The word "HOME" lays heavy on my heart tonight.

My thoughts are with all those who anxiously await the effects of Hurricane Irene. I cannot imagine how frightened you are in your homes and I hope and pray that everyone will be safe this weekend. PLEASE do all that you can to protect yourself, your loved-ones and your pets.  You are on our minds and in our hearts.

Hugs, Deb

  3. What a priceless photo! It makes all the work of cat-sitting worthwhile. Sending good thoughts for all to stay out of harm's way from the hurricane's path.

  6. I'm thinking of everyone out there on the east coast too. Stay safe!
This cat reminds me of my Katerina. She puts her paws up like than and then climbs up in my arms with her head on my shoulder. She is my little cuddle kitty.

  7. We see on the news that various organizations are opening relief shelters but, again, hear of peoples reluctance to use them because shelters don't accept pets.
This has occurred time an again with various evacuation efforts( ie. recent fires, tornados, etc.). We pray that someday one of the generous organizations offering disaster sheltering will make pets part of their rescue efforts.

  10. Oh P.S. That photo is too adorable! How about a few with Ed and your other oldsters? I regret I have only portrait type of photos of some of my cats and failed to catch those delightful moments that more define their unique, individual habits or personalities (like your Cooper pic!).
