Craving the sun

Yesterday I put together a nice Spring post, received 8 comments and then the post disappeared. Poof!
Gotta love the internet.

It was a dull, damp day today. I started out cat-sitting and then joined up with a friend for lunch at The Good Food Co.  Good conversation and great food.

We need the sun now. Everyone is feeling the effects of a long winter and we all crave sun-light.
Human and feline alike.
I'm still putting bunnies here and there.
Even the coffee center isn't safe.

Today was my last visit with a sweet, senior tabby cat named Smudge and a black beauty named Bagheera. Tomorrow I start caring for a gorgeous calico and two tabby boys. I'm also house-sitting where there are no cats. NO CATS! And if they weren't all allergic you know I'd be working some magic. Oh well.

hugs, Deb

  3. It is just getting chilly here now at the beginning of autumn, and I am disliking it already. The older I get, the more I hate winters and would be happy for it to be summer all year round.

  4. Just wonderful to see our Annie with her little peach nose! If you've taken any new photos of Smudge or Bagheera, we'd love to see them.
Tell Sierra that we'd love to send her some of our sunshine but it comes along with some pretty fair heat, 90F/32C today! Too early in the season for it. Way too early....

  7. BTW, we share the same music crush. I have loved James Taylor since forever, seen him in concert about 3 times.
In my life, we have had a couple of cats named Smudge, and when my mother was a child in England, every cat they had was named Smudge.
    What's up with that?

  8. Your Easter and Spring decor is beautiful. I always look forward to seeing your tea pots and various teas.

How do you keep your cats from eating your plants? I have a few I have to keep in a closed room because my two cats will munch on them. I'm fearful they're poison. Is it okay for them to chew on those that are not poison? I've read that even aloe vera plants are bad for them.

  11. Funny about your post because I clicked on it in my blogger reader, then it said "this blog post does not exist." Crazy internet.

I'm craving sunlight, too. Such cute photos!

And I have been loving the beautiful photo of Kane on the side bar... I melt at the look in his eyes. Wonderful!

  13. Ah, so that explains it. Cyberminions at work, or one of those occasions where you're inadvertantly putting something back into draft status?
