Grabbing the moment

"What, what are you lookin' at?"
Got this one driving by. Is that as bad as being on your cell-phone? I think not. I couldn't miss a white cat.

Cat-tip-for-the-day=^..^=picture taking
As you know, I love to take pics of my cats. It's so easy since they are always here and usually co-operative. I used to drive myself crazy putting them in poses and expecting them to stay where I wanted them so I could snap 20 pictures of them and get 1 good one. I'd end up with pictures of cat tails as the cat left or a blurry picture of the whole cat. Or I'd get something like this....
HA! HA! HA! God, this cat kills me.

The best plan was to just let them be who they were and catch them when they were doing something cat-like. Which they will do, they are cats. I'll find one of them in a cute pose or doing something they shouldn't be and that's when I shoot. (the picture, that is)
I hope for good lighting which makes the picture perfect.
Like this.....
or this....Awwwwwwwwwww
Or this...

Or my favorite (in sequence)....
"hmm..this looks promising, an empty bowl"
"Perhaps If I wait my maid will fill it"
"For heaven's sake, where is she? I'm getting tired."
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

See, no lack of good opportunities in this house.
Love these cats.

Tomorrow I am baking an upside-down apple cake. Recipe coming....
hugs, Deb

  5. Love those pictures, especially the white cat in the window. But the best of all is the last one, asleep in the bowl. Too funny. Can't wait for the recipe. Take care and have a super day.

  6. I do love your cat photos and I think I need to just snap more of Charlie. I have some of those blurry tail and face in your camera poses for sure!!

  7. haha - those pictures are great. M has trouble getting pics of me too, unless I'm sleeping. She tries to get action shots, but I always move too fast and it's hard for her to hold the camera and play with me at the same time. Of course, D is never around when she's trying to do everything at once.
