A little tea-shop book

It is a bit milder today and the wind has died down. We are to have temperatures around -3 for awhile. By the weekend, it will be +9.
Annie waits in the window for the sun to appear but I think she may be disappointed today.

I'm enjoying this book when I can find time to read. I may pop it into the cat bag and read it while I sit with my kitty-clients. If there is one thing I know about cats, they love to be read to. A full tummy, a lap and the sound of your voice is very calming to them.
I recommend this little book to adults only but have yet to finish it. Here is a bit on this novel...
I'm sorry but I rotated this photo so many times and it just kept going  back to this. If you choose to not strain your neck, you'll just have to trust me that it is worth reading.

This vibrant orange tea-cup was sitting on the shelf at our local health food store. It was just within reach from their assortment of  loose tea-leaves. I bought some tea and somehow this home-less beauty made it into my basket.  Always the rescuer.
                                                        This is lovely Lucky.
We have a ways to go but I am working on getting her to sit and enjoy a few chapters with me. She's a little shy but we are getting there.

hugs, Deb

  8. Hi Deb. Little Annie looks so tired of it all. That book looks really interesting to me. Any book that is about a shop or a house peeks my interest. I buy a book by it's cover. If it has a cottage on it..Sold. Now that I have my Kindle though, I look at books in grocery story and if I like the cover, I write it in my notebook and then order for the Kindle. I'm going to order this one for my next reading..Happy Wednesday..Judy

  11. I love the orange tea cup...Orange was Kelly's favorite colour! The book looks interesting and I'll have to see if it's listed for my Kindle. I have to fly out tomorrow for a trade show and it looks like a good read on the plane, XOXO
