My favorite thing

I love dishes but am very particular about the ones that live in my cupboard. My all-time favorite tea-cup that is always close at hand is this beautiful little one from South Korea.

My daughter, Jess, taught school there and one Mother's Day sent this cup and saucer to me along with a gorgeous card. It has always been very special and will most likely remain my favorite of them all. It didn't quite make up for her being away but  I truly appreciated it. I'm glad those days are over of worrying about my kids being over-seas as they travelled. It was wonderful for them...not so much for MOM.  Worry gives you wrinkles and I kept Oil of Olay in business those years.

I'm joining Claudia at http://mockingbirdhillcottage.com/for My Favorite Thing.
Another Favorite...my sweet little Lily who is, once again, eating at every meal and enjoying the warm sun on a very cold winter day.

It sounds like we will be going back to Valleyfield Shelter in February to bring more cats to our area. I'm so happy about this and I will take you along. Please keep the cats in your thoughts.

Now, drop on over and meet Claudia.

hugs, Deb
