T U R K E YS

In our neck of the woods it is not uncommon to see wild turkeys walking about.
Here is a family...mom, dad  and many babes crossing the road ahead of me.
They are very interesting to watch but could do with some beauty sleep.
Yah, I know. Still, I can't stop looking at them.

Audrey wants to show you what she has been up to. I told her to keep herself busy last week while I was away cat-sitting so she taught herself to spell.

That's right; she spells.  I have no doubt there will be some obscene notes left around the house.

  2. Wild turkeys are frequent visitors here on the little farm--we've had a regular group of 18 during August.
I don't always have time to comment but this is a favorite place to visit the cats and unwind.
The Antics of Audrey are a treat!

  4. Even Maeve (the wonder cat) can't spell! She'll wildly competitive with Audrey so I will have to tell her about this. Wild turkeys are a bit on the homely side but I always love seeing them out here.

  5. I've always liked seeing turkeys wandering about on those occasions when they're passing through.

Audrey's wondering how to tackle them.

  9. Those turkeys are truly ugly - but it's nice to see there are still some wild ones enjoying their freedom. What would Audrey do if she saw a family of them crossing the front lawn?
