Three cheers for blueberries & Toby

I try to eat blueberries every day. If not blueberries at least some kind of berry.
The more I hear about their health benefits the more I like them. Blueberries are not only popular, but also ranked in the U.S. diet as having one of the highest antioxidant capacities among all fruit. I often mix blueberries and grapes together and keep a container of them in the car while I drive from house to house with my cat-sitting service.

Something else I make sure I have is some freeze dried chicken by Pure Bites for the kitties when I arrive.

Meet Toby. Her and I have become great friends.
"Deb, it's time we talk about your cat addiction."

Yes, she's a senior (just like me), oh! did I say that?.. and we enjoyed sitting and chatting about all kinds of interests of hers. She loves lying in sun-puddles and she's enjoying  her new food that will help with her urinary condition. She loves to 'queen' it over the other three resident cats so she showed me how she keeps them in line with her dainty hiss and her delicate growl. Oh, they listen...don't kid yourself. She's no push-over. That's Too-cute Toby.

hugs, Deb

  1. Eating blueberries is a great healthy daily habit! Although there is a berry boom in my country we get them according to the season esp the fresh ones.
Toby, you are a charming senior lady! And to be honest with you, I share with Deb the same lovely cat addiction♥

  2. Hi Deb! I LOVE blueberries and just can't get enough of them. Now your little new sitter is a cutie and I could tell she's queen of her abode! :)
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  3. Blueberries are of course very tasty!

    Toby looks like a sweetheart.

  4. I eat blueberries every morning in my cereal. I usually get frozen. But I found some recently for $1.99. I'm enjoying fresh blueberries.

  5. Looove blueberries. Gordon makes THE BEST blueberry buttermilk pancakes, Yum!

  6. She is adorable. We love blueberries, too. Have a very nice weekend.

  7. Toby is so cute! And I love blueberries, but I don't eat them often enough. They are so very good for you.
