Let's slim down kitty

Audrey didn't think you should live another minute without seeing the little painter's splash of white she wears on her bib.

"There you go, folks. Carry on."

I have a link that anyone who is owned by a tubby cat may want to read. It is written by the well-known cat behaviourist, Pam Johnson-Bennett. It is full of great information and will help guide you to initiate a healthy diet for your indoor cat. Please read...
http://www.catbehaviorassociates.com/overweight-cats-its-an-epidemic/

Cat-sitting has wound down now to one house as people return to get families ready for back-to-school preparations.
It could not have happened sooner as I am today down for the count. Flu, I think. Anyhoo, as Audrey says...Carry on.
hugs, Deb

  2. Thanks for sharing - very informative and such important info! Like us humans, overweight kitties also run the risk of far more health problems than their slimmer counterparts.

  3. Deb hope you feel better soon! You have a new Grandbaby coming anytime now! Audrey is something else. Charlie just turned his back to me when I said I was going to read this article about slimming down a cat!

  4. Thanks for the link. I did see news footage of one yesterday...

My parents had a cat that at first look seemed tubby- but it was just her build.

And you feel better soon. I am so sorry this has come right now when you wanted to be busy cooking and freezing meals for your daughter and hubby, as well as other helpful things, too! Hope you are up and back to yourself soon!

  8. Bootsie is blushing, well he should be, but he's most likely meowing for more food.

He's on a special vet diet, and still not losing weight.

Great advice in here, give Audrey a hug for me.
