The entertainers at the mouse-house.

I could watch these guys for hours. :) But then, I do have a life. ha!
"You do?"

"Excuse me. I believe I have emptied your feeder."
They certainly keep me entertained when I'm in the garden.

The weather was beautiful here with the humidity gone and a cool breeze along with sunny days. It's been perfect.
Today the rain falls as the daisies stand up tall to drink it in.
It's a well-needed rain.
                                                                    (before the rain)

is our little Peach
aka  Annie.
She's busy watching doves returning to the side bird-feeders
after being away sitting on nests, I presume.

"Welcome back, little Doves."

I miss our chickadees as they have been absent from the mouse-house for a month now.
I really miss their sweet faces.
But, they will return with their fledglings very soon. :)
That will be a nice day.

hugs, Deb

  1. It has to be said...Wildlife are excellent performers,
and so funny at times! :).
There's a program on over here at the moment, called
'Springwatch'...For three weeks, last week, this week.
Some of the filming is quite funny...Though they do go
overboard with the 'killing' and 'death'. I know it
happens, but, not in your face, night after night!
I have sent an e~mail and complained...! What good it'll

  2. I would have a hard time getting anything done around the house if I had such cute critters to watch.

  3. It's really fun to watch those critters. Love the photo of little guy with mouth full of seeds :-) So adorable! Reminded me of hamsters I had long time ago. We have a couple of doves around here, too They are so sweet and cute :-)

  4. It is impossible to look at those stuffed cheeks of a chip pie and not smile. Haha

  5. They are cute company to have around!

  6. You have the cutest of slivery snakes around your place :)
I'm always amazed at the variety of seeds and fruits you so generously offer your guests, a virtual smorgasbord.
Sweet Annie, she's looking entertained too !

  7. I am missing my bird feeders so much!! Great photos, Deb!

  8. All such sweet photos but you know that i would love the dove photos!! Thanks so much for stopping by! The baby doves are still with us in the yard almost 2 weeks after leaving their nest in the hanging pot!

  9. Hi Deb ... we have some great characters here too ... two chipmunks that are in a duel for who is head chipmunk of the back garden.
We love watching the birds and the chipmunks do their thing .. it is always so entertaining ... you have great pictures here !
    Joy : )

  10. I'm telling you, you have a way with animals! They love you, and I believe they are thinking exactly what you say. It is so cute!! Your posts are wonderful.

  11. You do have some fine entertainment there! You are surrounded with great company!
    Love Annie's photo!

  12. Watching the wonders of nature is the best entertainment, indeed. I used to watch birds at the feeder for hours and hours on end when I was growing up :)

  13. There's always plenty of activity in the country. I could watch that sort of thing all day, too.

  14. Beautiful photos! You have a lovely blog. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada. :)
