Bye, bye March.

Wow..that was a busy weekend. Let's see...
Besides all the animal care at home, I pampered 8 cats
and added lettuce and carrots to the cat-bag for the Easter bunnies, Boo & Pepper. You must spoil bunnies at Easter.

I had lots of slow walks with Kane, bathed him and now he smells like coconut.

I  decorated the dining-room for dinner & added Easter eggs to the front porch.

Enjoyed a traditional Easter meal with all the family; OK - the table's not so pretty anymore but it was tasty.

Snuggled up to the cutest little bunny ever.
Bradley is now 6 months old.
Riley will be 3 in May.

We had an Easter egg hunt and ate far too many jelly beans.

Now, I am relaxing with a good cup of chamomile tea and a new book I just ordered from our local book store, Reads called You Can Do Tea by Sandy Lynam Clough. It is a beautifully illustrated book with many ideas for gathering friends for tea. This may be really handy for a future baby shower.

Audrey was glad to see the tail-end of our company as she is not too keen on crowds. She's a funny little cat; you'd think she'd love an audience.

And that's that. Now I have a few days free to get back to some projects and start cleaning up outside. The snow has almost all disappeared and some tulips have popped up in the yard.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. Now we welcome April on this cool, rainy morning.

hugs, Deb

  6. Deb, I so miss having family close by to enjoy holidays, but we're considering rectifying that with a move to the east coast. I hate to give up our beautiful weather and scenery, but when I see family photos I know it's what we have to do, XOXO

  7. Gran D with his little Easter bunny boy is too cute!
I can't believe how big Bradley has gotten. Time, how do you hold it back?

Looks like a great Easter at your house.

P.S. How do you pamper the bunnies? Mostly food or do they like combing and conversation too?

    1. They like some free time to hop around the house and they LOVE yogurt drops. They make such cute little pets if you can't have a dog or cat. (or want one)

  8. You sure crammed a lot into one Easter weekend, but it all looks like great fun! The baby is growing so fast. The snow is all gone here and it was a treat to be outdoors, even if the yard is a sea of mud!

  10. You were very busy!

We had snow for about twenty minutes yesterday. I suspect it was an April Fools on us...

  11. Your Easter table was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the photos of your family. It's interesting -- Martha Stewart said when she was talking about her most recent entertaining book that one should always take pictures of the table after all had eaten. It was the memory of a meal well shared and when those you love are in the picture, also a memory of those you shared it with!
