Useful.

"Whatchadoin?"

"Hi Audrey. I was just looking at blogs.
Are you here for a few scritches?

"Ya, ya, I thought I'd give you a thrill seeing you are doing nothing."

"A little to the left now."

"Oh, that's good. "

"I really needed that since there was no sun today."

"I love your airplane ears and it's nice that you come to me for attention, Audrey. It means you love me."

"It's nice you are good for something, Deb."
=^..^=

"Shhhh...don't ruin the moment, Audrey."

Now I think I deserve some hot tea in my Spring cup after being a personal (unappreciated) massage therapist today.

It has been snowing all morning and the weather report is not good. Freezing rain is to follow along with 5 - 10 cm of fresh snow.
We are all so tired of this weather. The retired-guy headed out to clean the snow off the drive-way (again) in case we get the call to be with our grandittle, Gwynn, if it's time for the new one to arrive.
We have to stay one step ahead of this crazy weather.

Hugs, Deb

  8. Audrey, you know you have the best Mommy in the world, even though you don't want to admit it.
Hope the new baby waits till the driveway is cleared.

  11. Audrey doesn't fool anybody with that face...she loves her Mommy. Seems the weather is crazy everywhere. Right now we have tornado warnings all around us, but so far nothing except high winds and rain right over us. We are in North Carolina, just north of Raleigh.

  12. I think we're sharing the same weather -- but the birds are flocking to the feeder, which means I have a happy and most engaged girl. Your sweet Audrey looks like she knows who is in charge. (Hint. It isn't you!)

  17. Long time reader, wanted to finally say hello and that your blog always cheers me up. We never have had much of a winter down here in Texas, so I love the snow pictures. It's a little depressing to think that soon we will have endless months of heat and high humidity again, no open windows and a hot cup of green tea while reading blogs. Thanks for the wonderful animal stories, the always gorgeous pictures, and recipes of which I have tried a few. We try to help every stray animal around here as well, people just seem to leave them behind when they move away. It is so sad. We have countless bird feeders in the trees off our balcony and right now I am hoping that the tree trimmers are leaving enough limbs on them for me to be able to keep the feeders out there. They have been sawing huge trees down for two straight days straight which is heart breaking. Wish I was in your beautiful, peaceful forest (or back home in south Germany in the Black Forest) where animals are safe and being looked after. Thanks for your beautiful blog, I truly look forward to reading it each and every day. Elke

  18. That Audrey is just so darn cute! I've always thought she was a cat of a thousand faces.
The week is winding down, the little one should hopefully be here soon. Keeping our fingers crossed for fair weather and clear roads.
