Cats in windows & Remembering a great friend.

A walk about town found more felines enjoying the sunshine on their window-sills.

Care for a closer look?

and back home, Lily and friends were enjoying the sun from our patio windows.

It's raining off and on today. I am off to cat-sit and then home to work on some projects.
Hope you have some sun in your windows. :-)

Today, my good friend Christine would be turning 56. She lost her battle with ovarian cancer over 2 years ago. She is missed every day but today it hurts a little more. I hope she knows how much I miss her.

hugs, Deb

  1. I like all your cat in window photos but I have a special yen for the first one =) I think it would make such a pretty card!
I'm glad sweet Lily found some sun to soak in.
We had a thunderstorm today-started just before I had to walk to work,of course!! It stopped shortly after my 15 minute walk to work =)

    I'm sorry about your friend

  2. The cats in the windows all look so happy to get some sun.

We are sorry about your friend - it was far too young to die. Make sure you treat yourself to some flowers or something nice that she would enjoy.

  3. She was far too young to leave this planet! But I would like to think she knows how much you miss her, and misses you too. Hugs...

  4. Maybe a random act of kindness performed in her name might lighten your heart on this sad day. It helps me.
The little ginger fellow seems to really be enjoying the air! Love to all.

  5. Lovely pictures of cats so relaxed in the windows.

Your friend was too young to leave us. But from your blog, I can tell she is very much in your soul. A kind heart lives on forever in the people she touches.

  6. I'm sorry for you and your friend. Very sad. My mum died of ovarian cancer. Evil disease.

  7. I can laugh about the goofy things my mom said and did, but I always get sad on her birthday in July. My sis and I miss her everyday.
Love the windows photos - too bad you can't walk by my house, you would always have a shot of a cat in the window!
