flu

"Deb is down with the flu
and I'm getting nervous.
It's really quite pathetic.

"I've put a call in to the OSPCA just to be sure they check in here and see that my needs are met."
"The retired-guy can feed me but he doesn't realize all the intricat details to my day.
I have a lot of small parts.
And my moms are too sleepy to care."

"I don't care."

"Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. This could be a catastrophe."

=^..^=

  1. Oh, Audrey! You should be taking care of your Meowmy. Give her a hug (yes, you!) ... at least a purr ... and tell her I hope she feels better soon.

  2. Now Audrey, you must behave yourself when one of your humans is sick. She can make it up to you later.

I know, asking you to behave is an ordeal.

  6. A-ha! So you are now ready to admit that your Mom is the one who does all the extra little things to keep you happy.
Since she's feeling bad, it's time to snuggle up with her and give some comfort. I know she'll appreciate some special attention.

Deb, I hope you feel better soon!

  7. Audrey, we are, of course, thinking of you, recognizing the peril of your situation. But we're thinking equally (well, actually, a bit more!) of your mum who isn't feeling well at all. So you mind your Ps and Qs! She'll be back.

  8. Dear Little Audrey ~ You are so spoiled. You really need to treat your Mommy much better than you do. After all it's her hands that feed you and give you those wonderful massages you so enjoy. Go snuggle up to her giving her some healing vibes from your purrs.

I love your picture. You are a dear character and I love you. I see a bit of drool from your upper lip, so you're content.

Tell your Mommy to 'be well' and that she is being thought of and prayed for.

  15. Now Audrey, just understand that humans sometimes get sick. I know your needs are important, but you are just going to have to put up with the retired guy until she feels better. Snuggling up to her and purring just might hurry her healing along. Tell Deb I hope she feels better soon.

  16. Oh dear. What a bother for you. Perhaps you can give her some extra lovings. You know: cuddles, purrs, gentle head nudges. The more your Mom feels the love the sooner she will heal. Then you can go right back to being your spoiled, pampered self. Get well soon!

  27. We're sad to hear your mommy has the flu. (Daddies never do as good when taking care of kitties.) We hope your mommy will feel good soon.

  28. Oh Deb, I feel for you. I've been sick with bronchitis. My poor birdies have not had their feeders filled for over a week! They join with Audrey in bemoaning their lot!
Take good care, and I hope you feel better soon!

  29. Oh, dear Audrey, this is SO awful for you. Two moms and neither one understands your dire straits! And only the R.G. to feed you. My heart aches for you, for sure. (Actually, Deb, this post was one of your best--well, except for the fact that you're suffering with the flu.) Take care of yourself and get well fast. Will be saying a prayer for you tonight. Hugs from Nebraska ><>
