A little somethin' somethin'

Sometimes you just have to buy yourself a little somethin' somethin' at Christmas.
How could any cat-sitter resist these?
Some classy driver I'm going to be...huh!

Shopping in Almonte was fun. I love having lunch with my friends, Martha and Bobbi and catching up on all that's going on. I found some unique little gifts so I do believe the stockings are done all but some of that scrumptious Christmas chocolate. That will go in to each stocking early Christmas morning since the wood-stove will be 'cookin' on Christmas eve. Melted chocolate?.....Uh, no thanks."

I had help making dinner this evening. I chopped while Sierra purred herself to sleep and Audrey stole a Q-tip from Kane's stash and batted it through the kitchen and back to the front door. Then she carried it around like a trophy. No need for store-bought cat toys around here.

And then there's the biggest toy of all.
We all have our favorite Christmas song.
Enjoy!
hugs, Deb

  4. We don't need store bought cat toys around here, either! Usually a hair tie is entertainment enough. Or of course a box, laundry basket, or anything else they can jump into :)

PS - Thanks so much for your sweet comment about Buttercup. I knew you'd understand after just having a loss yourself. I really appreciate it.

  6. Love those gloves! Oh yes we do need to get ourselves a little something for the holidays!! Audrey and the Qtip cracks me up....I had a cat who would think she was the great white hunter when she 'killed' the Qtip! hugs, Linda
