D for the deep sleeper.

First off, thank you everyone for such kind words on the loss of two of my kitty-clients.
I hope the families of these two precious cats received some comfort from all your thoughtful comments. I did pass them on.
I'll always have such sweet memories of Otis and Dominique.
It was a privilege to have known and loved them.

Now, it`s time to get back to Audrey`s lessons .

D is for Deep Sleep.
That's the kind of sleep AA gets numerous times throughout her day.
She thinks we can't see comes to mind, too. :-b

 "ok...I'm sorry."

So, I think we have jumped right from winter to summer here. People run by our property in shorts and runners. Bikers are everywhere.
The trees are blossoming.
Leaves are about ready to pop open.
The sun is sooooo hot. :)
We are tilling the ground and planting Morning Glories & Sunflowers along the fence.
We have seeded the ground for new grass.
We are still waiting on the burn ban to be lifted.
There are 4 piles of brush to burn.
I guess we need more rain.
Annie sharing the sun with some seedlings. Tomatoes and poppies.

We plan to plant veggies behind the construction area.
We actually have more land behind the house than in front and the ground is good for gardening.
My blueberry bush.
Looking forward to the future muffins.
That's our neighbours house to the right of us.
A widow and her dachshund.

I think I may be psychic and will explain tomorrow.
Enjoy your day.
hugs, Deb

  1. Gorgeous photos of light and shadows!

The kitty legs in the blanket made me laugh out loud! :)

  2. Love the 'look' from Miss A!! Oh my, she is an expressive kitty. It's still nice and cool here but sunny and lovely. It will get oh so hot soon enough.

  3. Yikes! Better watch using the 'd' word when Audrey is within paw-smacking distance! Yes, I think we went from Winter right to Summer, and I'm loving it!

  4. If looks could kill, that second shot would do it!

Cats burrowing under whatever is just too adorable.

  5. Your seedlings are looking good!
    Enjoy your week, Deb....
    Linda :o)

  7. I cannot wait to see your garden grow! Also...intrigued to read tomorrow's post!

    1. OMG! That face! It's priceless!
I laughed out loud when I was it. Isabel 'hides' in the same way. Her head is covered but she seems to forget about the other end.
Happy that Annie and the seedlings can both bask in the sunlight.

  8. Glad to see Audrey getting her "D" on!

You sound like you are really enjoying your new home grounds. Blessings for a great harest - of flowers, food and memories.
