I did some dusting today.
I do that on dull, rainy days.
It's not a chore for me. I actually have fun and appreciate the excuse to play with dishes.
"Hey Audrey, want to help me dust?"
"In your dreams, woman."
You can see some of the many pieces of pottery I have found in different thrift shops and antique shops in the last few weeks.
I have boxed up many other bits of china and sent them off to thrift shops to find a new home.
All but my blue and white which I adore.
You'd have to pry them out of my hands.
The late Linda McCartney and I had two things in common.
We both loved blue and white dishes and Paul. *grin*
Did you know she was a wonderful cook?
I still use her cook-book to this day.

Yes, I love your blue and white china too! You have some beautiful pieces. I had to giggle when I read about your things in common with L.M. I always favoured Paul too. ;) Thanks for joining me for tea and have a lovely rest of the week.
Love everything about your blue and white dishes -- very cool about the McCartneys!ReplyDelete
I enjoy the changes you make to your cupboard and I'm so glad to hear you would not give away your blue and white dishes are so you!ReplyDelete
Audrey, who you know I'm crazy for, has a face that reminds me of a panther or some other wild animal. She has that elongated face. Thanks for coming over!ReplyDelete
Lovely blue and white china! I love your mix of patterns!ReplyDelete
You have the best selection of dishes Deb! Wonderful!ReplyDelete
I'm with you, Audrey...yuck to dusting. However, now that the sun is shining so much more, one can see the dust motes swirling in the light. Time to get at it! Am taking tomorrow off from work (keep fingers crossed!) to vacuum, sweep, dust, re-arrange, shop for hardward (paint, insulation, etc.), then hubby can start on his outside projects, and I can put a coat of paint on the Cat Hotel. Whew!ReplyDelete
Oh Deb....Miss Audrey is her own woman isn't she? I loved Linda McCartney too! I did not know she loved to cook? I love that you shared this with us! The blue and white teapot is the prettiest ever! Have a wonderful day!ReplyDelete
I love/ed Linda McCartney. Paul was lucky to have had her for a wife.ReplyDelete
Lovely photo, Deb. Blue and white dishes and our darling girl in the window. A winning combo for sure!
