There is no shortage of 'dryers' after dinner dishes are washed up in the mouse-house.
It was with great hesitation, I agreed (finally) to forgo a dishwasher as space was very limited. He has to...his idea. ;-)
I always have company while I clean up and Sierra likes to play after in the bubbles.
So, it's really not that bad. It will be even less of a chore when we install our counter top next week.
I just have to find time to shop.
Still no tenants in the bird house but there seems to be a lot of interest today. 5 more days 'til Spring.
Sierra, like Audrey has an unusual face. I love those dark lines and her little mouth. Cats are just beautiful creatures!! We also left out the dishwasher for more cabinet space when we built the cabin. It's okay until everyone is here for a holiday and every dish in the house is dirty.ReplyDelete
I'm no birder but my mum was before her Alzheimer's took everything away. Supposedly, different types of birds like their houses at different heights. Maybe you could check at what height the type of bird you are trying to attract likes their houses.ReplyDelete
Could not live without a dishwasher. I use too much water and can't use hot enough water, especially in cold or flu season. Besides,I hate doing dishes!
I realize the counters aren't in yet, but that natural wood looks pretty good, too! :)ReplyDelete
I think I value dishwashers as much for washing the dishes as having somewhere to put the dirty ones in the meantime.
Sierra is such a pretty girl. And I bet she's a lot of help, too!ReplyDelete
Purrs and hugs.....
Ugh, I hate washing dishes. Our old dishwasher broke the day before this past Thanksgiving. Awful timing.ReplyDelete
We have sparrows in our two family birdhouse....and then seem quite, um "busy" if you know what I mean. Enjoy your day!
Sierra is looking quite wise and regal.ReplyDelete
Always nice to have a good view when washing the dishes :)ReplyDelete
So nice to have the company. My kit kat is a afraid of his own shadow. The only one he will come to is me and that is usually when I am sewing or on the puter. I am having a give a way over at my place, please check it out.ReplyDelete
I love the light in the Mouse House...your photos are luminous!ReplyDelete
I have company when I do the dishes I don't put my pots in the dishwasher just everything else it is Miggs who likes to snooze on the floor in the corner of our counter cupboards as I am doing the dishes Harley couldn't care less and is upstairs on her bed lol ! I like watching the birds and critters out my window when doing dishes as the window faces the valley we are on a bit of higher ground so we look a bit down into the valley it is soo relaxing and pretty . I am sure the house will be rented soon sounds like loots of on lookers though lol ! Lovely photos , Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !ReplyDelete
Such a pretty kitty! My cats are always volunteering to do the dish washing, with their scratchy tongues! Makes meal cleanup easy!ReplyDelete
Good thing the retired guy is helping....and Sierra, too! What a lovely cat!ReplyDelete
I like having cat company when I do my dishes, too. Two of my four cats find the process fascinating. The other two aren't interested if there isn't any food involved. You may be onto a good thing with the retired guy taking on kitchen chores.ReplyDelete
I got a dishwasher so that I didn't divorce Gordon. ;) I'm glad the retired guy is taking his turn!! But it sure must help to have a lovely view out your window!ReplyDelete
Sierra is so pretty sitting there. I love her little white patches. Beautful.ReplyDelete
