A WHALE of a time!

You don't leave Newfoundland without going out to greet the whales. This was on my 'list of things to do before I..........get arthritis'  (or something like that).  The day after the wedding we headed out.

This whale was playing with us, I have no doubt about that.

Allie grabbed the camera just in time to get this...
That is called 'breaching' when they lift their whole body right out of the water. Click on the link below to see the video clip from which we took this still.

Check out O`Briens Whale and Bird Tours if you find yourself in Newfoundland.  Their boat crew appears to ``speak whale`` as the video shows.

For photos of the wedding ceremony see the previous post.

hugs, Deb

  4. It is really hard to photograph whales. Addie did a great job with the humpback! And sometimes you go out and see none at all, which can be a little frustrating. :)

  9. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the
structure of your site? Its very well written; I love
what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more
in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?

  10. Chicago ρizza is uѕually meaty (somе varіants come

it іs eaten wіth a knifе аnd fork.

Τhаt's right, no buying that sorry excuse for pizza dough at your local grocery store; we're talκing thе
real dеal here. Theгe are not a lot of frozen pіzzas out
there that lock in that fresh take out taste anԁ I wanted tο
