A walk around the neighbourhood

Kane and I did our 2 km walk after lunch. I just may soon fit back into those old jeans of mine from this dog dragging me all over town.

It was quiet but the trees were loud with colour.

It was so nice to turn a corner and be greeted by the beauty of a cat...or three.

Just look at their faces.  They don't look too impressed, do they?

Pumpkins are everywhere and I love them mixed with mums.

I love this season.
This is the tree in front of our house. I'll be raking for a month.

The kittens are doing so well with their eating from a dish and using the litter-box. They will be 6 weeks on Friday. 2 more to go...oh gosh! Annie was watching us return from our evening walk from her window perch. She is finally starting to use it and like it. I bought a cat tree for the kittens today and they still prefer to climb me. My legs look like a crossword puzzle. Thank God short season is over (for more reason than one).

hugs, Deb

  2. I told you they would :) I usually start clipping claws once they are old enough to eat on their own. I don't do it while they are nursing because I've read the claws stimulate milk

    Those trees are beautiful!

you have a lot of outdoor kitties in your area.. I have only seen one around me.. and that's the one I rescued from the side of the road and "kidnapped" while I found his parents cause the road is kinda busy and I was concerned about him.

  4. your colors are far more vibrant than ours are this year.

Ours don't seem to be as vibrant as last year and I have no clue as to why.

You also sure have A LOT of cats in your area! I rarely see any!
