Fun with the grandittles

We had a pizza lunch at our home for some of our family on Sunday.
After lunch, Gramps got out the soccer helicopter and kept the kids busy and entertained.
It's remote-controlled and flies around the family-room.

and will land on your hand.
Check out the tights on our little fashionista.
Please don't mind the mess. Kids....you know...
Bradley was very amused by it all.
and then he amused us.
by playing peak-a-boo through the doll-house.

Then it was time for Nana and Riley to get some serious colouring done.

If you are wondering where Audrey was while the kids were over, well...
she's made a hidey-hole upstairs in one of the bedrooms
with a 'Do not Disturb' sign on the door.

After everyone left I was off to cat-sit and drop some food off for the ferals.

It has really warmed up here and the streets are dirty and slushy.
I'll take that over -20C though.
It is time to fill the cat-bag again as many of my clients are heading south for some sun and will be leaving their kitties home alone.
January and February are always busy months for me but nothing like the Christmas season.
This will be a piece of cake.

Oh yes, and we had cake for dessert today.
My Upside-down Apple Cake.
If you want the recipe just ask.

Hope you had a great weekend.
Here's to a good week ahead.

hugs, Deb

  1. Audrey hears all that racket going on and I can't blame her for finding a hidey hole. Looks like everyone had fun!
